This heat pump version extracts heat from the outside air and passes it into the heating water. This method functions efficiently even with outside temperatures of -25 °C. Air/water heat pumps do not require drilling operations and are therefore the cheapest way to use a heat pump for heating, cooling and the production of warm water. Air/water heat pumps are only conditionally operational in the case of high humidity during winter.
