This heat pump version extracts heat from the outside air and passes it into the heating water.... more
A geothermal installation offers not only the possibility of heating in wintertime, but also of cooling in summer... more
Depending on the version of the pump, it can include a boiler or heating circulation pumps (for the geothermal probes or the heating circuit). The hot water reaches up to 60 °C; with an additional electric heating it can be brought up to 70 °C to prevent the formation of legionella.
This system can be used with a subterranean aquifer. Its water has a constant temperature of between 8 °C and 12 °C throughout the whole year and is not influenced by external climatic conditions. It is necessary to check the depth of the aquifer, the water quality, its amount and the local regulations and policies. At least one well is installed to extract the water and another one downhill to send it back. If the province allows it, the water can also be sent to superficial streams.
